Purpose: To establish a committee that allows physician learners across the UCF/HCA Florida Healthcare GME Consortium to share information with each other relevant to their programs and their learning and working environment. All residents and fellows will have the opportunity to raise any concerns to this committee. Said committee will be known as the Resident Advisory Committee (RAC).
The Resident Advisory Committee (RAC) represent the interests of all residents and fellows to the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC). Committee members are UCF/HCA Florida Healthcare GME Consortium PGY-2 or higher residents or fellows from various specialties.

The RAC co-chairs lead the committee in setting annual goals and keep those goals in mind as the committee progresses throughout the year.
Objectives of the Co-Chairs:
Responsibilities/Requirements:
A. The Resident Advisory Committee (RAC) shall be composed of physician learners from any of the UCF/HCA Florida Healthcare GME Consortium programs.
B. The Chair of RAC shall be peer-selected and shall provide the resident members of GMEC a regular report of RAC activities.
C. The Chair of RAC has the authority to extend an invitation to members from other University of Central Florida College of Medicine and HCA department and/or service lines to discuss issues that affect the physician learners and their work environment.
D. Staff support for RAC shall be provided by the Office of Graduate Medical Education as requested.
E. Meetings shall occur at a minimum of every other month. The schedule shall be determined and agreed upon at the beginning of each academic year by the membership.
F. RAC membership will have the option to meet with or without GME Leadership including the DIO, as requested.
