Philanthropy in our DNA

Established in 2006, the UCF College of Medicine strives to become the nation’s premier 21st-century medical school. With a spirit of passion, compassion, and ambition, our goal is nothing less than to transform health care and the practice of medicine in this country. Our most important partners will be the philanthropic donors who are driven to be part of something greater than themselves and share our vision for excellence in research, education and patient care.

The College of Medicine Charter Class of 2006 received full scholarships through more than $6.5 million in community donations that funded their four-year education, which made the UCF College of Medicine the first medical school in U.S. history that provided full scholarships for an entire class. This was all thanks to our donors who have made a difference in our UCF students lives and allowed philanthropy to be in our DNA.
