UCF Health, the College of Medicine’s new faculty practice, opened its doors this week for two open houses – one for the community and one for local physicians.

Guests toured the newly renovated facility at 3400 Quadrangle Blvd., on the corner of University and Quadrangle boulevards, just blocks from the main UCF campus. They met clinicians, all of whom are faculty at the College of Medicine, and even made appointments. UCF Health will begin treating patients on November 7.

Guests were impressed with the medical facilities spa-like feel and its dedication to personal care. They marveled at the idea that the facility offers on-site lab services and soon will offer on-site radiology as a convenience to patients. Most of all, they enjoyed meeting the physicians, whom they described as “outgoing,” “approachable,” “friendly,” “knowledgeable” and “caring.”

UCF Health treats patients 16 and up and is focused on primary care including internal, family and geriatric medicine. Additional services include sports medicine, rheumatology, neurology, nephrology and infectious disease. Other services will be added based on community needs.

The practice accepts most insurance programs. To schedule an appointment, please call 407-309-4800.
