Dr. Philippa Bright

Here is what UCF medical students say about Dr. Bright:

  • Dr. Bright’s greatest teaching strength was promoting independent clinical reasoning. I appreciated being able to evaluate patients, formulate my own assessment and plan, and then discuss it together. Her thoughtful feedback significantly strengthened my confidence and decision-making skills.
  • Dr. Bright was an exceptional attending to work with. Her empathy, patience, intelligence, and genuine care for both patients and residents made a lasting impression on me. On several occasions, she took the time to explain complex concepts to me and also showed interest in learning about my personal aspirations and goals in medicine. Dr. Bright is a remarkable role model, and I hope to be the kind of physician she is, providing compassionate care to patients and guidance to future students I work with.
  • Working with Dr. Bright has been an outstanding experience. Her calm demeanor in even the most hectic situations is truly impressive and sets a reassuring tone for the team. Dr. Bright’s extensive clinical knowledge is remarkable; she consistently provides guidance on the latest techniques and medications, enriching our learning experience. Her warm greetings and thoughtful questions always encourage us to deepen our understanding and improve our skills.
