If spring cleaning has come early to your home, UCF Health will happily take your unwanted, gently used clothing and accessories by Monday, Feb. 24. In support of the Women’s Club at UCF’s 5th Annual Clothing Sale benefiting scholarships for nontraditional college students, the medical facility is one of two collection sites gathering items like:

  • Women and men’s clothing
  • Casual and business attire
  • Designer labels
  • Cocktail wear
  • Accessories
  • Purses
  • Shoes
  • Children’s Clothing

The women’s organization focuses on nontraditional students as beneficiaries of its fundraising activities because they did not have the opportunity to enter college immediately after high school. Many had to delay higher education because of financial, health and/or family reasons.

Over the past several months, the Women’s Club at UCF and UCF Health have formed a close partnership.

“We hold our monthly ‘Beauty, Health and Fitness’ meetings at UCF Health and I think our members have really learned a lot from the physicians who volunteer their time to speak with us,” said Sarah Magann, coordinator of the special interest group.

Clothing items and accessories can be dropped off at UCF Health during normal business hours:

  • Monday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Just a couple blocks from UCF’s main campus facing University Blvd., UCF Health is located at 3400 Quadrangle Blvd., Orlando, FL 32817.
