The Faculty Life Office teams with the College’s Educational Technology department, which provides a variety of valuable resources, support, and consultations such as:

  • One-on-one consultations, support, and just-in-time training for technology and software applications used in face-to-face and online class assignments.
  • Multimedia support in educational content – including images, graphics, animations, 4K and 360 degree videos, and augmented and virtual reality applications.
  • Support with storyboards, scanning, editing, and conversion of images and/or videos.
  • Support with capture, edit, conversion and delivery of classroom lectures in Panopto.
  • Support with poster design and printing for conferences.

Classroom Technology Support

Each classroom is equipped with audio/video technology, a touch screen computer monitor, a confidence monitor, Microsoft Office, Internet access, and lecture recording capabilities.

UCF’s online learning management system (LMS) is where faculty and staff can post and manage course content and resources, manage assignments and grades, and interact with students through discussions and announcements. Curriculum Transformation

In 2024 the College of Medicine transformed the curriculum to our new M1 students.  In collaboration with Academic Affairs, the Division of Continuous Professional Learning aims to support our faculty with comprehensive resources as they transition to delivering the new MD curriculum.  This partnership is dedicated to ensuring that our educators are fully equipped with the latest pedagogical tools and strategies that have been approved by our Curriculum Committee, fostering an environment of excellence and innovation in medical education.
