The UCF College of Medicine offers students new-state-of-the art facilities in Orlando’s emerging medical city at Lake Nona.
The College of Medicine’s 170,000-square-foot medical education building features the latest in lab and classroom technology that delivers the medical school’s innovative, patient-centered curriculum. The building is home to the Harriet F. Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, a Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, a 5,300-square-foot Microscopy Lab and a world-class Anatomy Lab. The building is expected to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification based on United States Green Building Council standards for sustainable buildings.
The college’s 198,000 square-foot Burnett Biomedical Sciences building is a five-story state-of-the-art facility for biomedical researchers. Housing a major transgenic animal facility and three Biosafety Level 3 laboratories, the facility is an ideal environment for students interested in advancing biomedical research.

Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences – Main Campus
Faculty and staff in the School are located in four areas: the Biomolecular Science and Health & Public Affairs Building on Main Campus; the Biomolecular Research Annex in Research Park; and the Burnett Biomedical Sciences facility, adjacent to the College of Medicine at the Lake Nona Medical City Campus.
