Welcome to Ultrasound Interest Group
Mission: Point of care ultrasound is fast, easily-accessible, portable, and inexpensive. It has been proven to advance patient care and safety, and it provides real time information during examinations and procedures. The mission of the Ultrasound Interest Group is to educate and raise awareness about the techniques and applications of bedside ultrasound in medicine, to promote the integration of ultrasound in medical school curriculums, and to offer resources, support, and mentorship in ultrasound education. We provide hands-on ultrasound experience to interested medical students to attain a better understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology with the goal of strengthening skills in diagnosis and treatment.
