Biography

Dr. Scott Barron is a board-certified pediatrician with special interests in pediatric emergency medicine, medical education, and evidence-based medicine.  Dr. Barron began his career at the University of South Florida College of Medicine followed by his pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

The college welcomed Dr. Barron in 2012 as volunteer faculty associated with Nemours Childrens Hospital where he was one of the founding pediatric emergency medicine physicians.  Dr. Barron serves as the Director of Health Systems Science in addition to his roles as the Regional Lead Clinician and Director of Enterprise Quality for Pediatric Associates as well as continuing to practice in the Nemours’ Pediatric Emergency Department.

Dr. Barron is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
