Dr. Farhangi is a dedicated comprehensive ophthalmologist and refractive cataract surgeon. She is driven by positive impact on her patients’ lives and their lifestyles, she is committed to delivering exceptional eye care.

She is a compassionate ophthalmologist who ensures that patients feel comfortable, informed, and empowered throughout their surgical journey. Her commitment to excellence extends to staying updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology field and cataract surgery techniques and technology. She has actively participated in several ophthalmology research projects and has successfully published and presented her findings at national conferences. Furthermore, she possesses a strong enthusiasm for educating and mentoring residents and medical students.

Education

Dr. Farhangi received her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior with minor in Psychology, graduating with highest honor from University of California Davis. She received her Medical Doctor degree from university of Central Florida College of medicine. She completed a year of anterior segment research fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She graduated from the ophthalmology residency program at Howard University Hospital, Washington DC.
