Biography

Katharine (Kathy) Sheehan joined the Division of Continuous Professional Learning as an Administrative Assistant in June 2022.  She comes to us from New York where she was the Administrative Assistant/Office Manager for the Evelyn L. Spiro School of Nursing at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.  Before her position at Wagner, she was a Sr. Administrative Assistant for the New York Claims office of Allstate Insurance Company.  While working at Allstate, Kathy earned her Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) designation through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).  Before her move to Florida, she started working towards obtaining her Certified Administrative Professional certificate and hopes to continue towards certification once she is settled.  Kathy is thrilled to be working at COM and looks forward to contributing to its success.
