Biography

Holly S. Mann is Executive Administrative Officer for Health Affairs and the College of Medicine. She came to UCF after 20+ years of program management experience in risk and emergency management, health protection and environmental safety, and strategic organizational planning.

She has served as a risk and emergency management consultant and previously managed the U.S. Army’s Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP), through a joint program contract with FEMA. She served in planning, training and security roles at U.S. Army installations at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and in Stuttgart, Germany. She also served as a technical writer to a congressionally-appointed review of veteran’s rehabilitative care at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. 

She was Hospital Preparedness and Pandemic Influenza Program Manager for the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where she directed grant awardees from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She was also associate director for business and budget planning for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.

Holly earned her Master of Public Administration in emergency management at Jacksonville State University and her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Alabama, where she majored in biological science/chemistry.
