Hatem Kaseb, MD, PhD, MPH

Biography

Dr. Hatem Kaseb is a pathologist with a special interest in Hematopathology, Gynecological Pathology and Medical Education. He is board-certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Kaseb began his medical career at Cairo University School of Medicine. In 2011, he completed his PhD in the department of Human Genetics in the University of Pittsburgh. He then completed a pathology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital  in New Haven, Connecticut; followed by a Hematopathology Fellowship in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. 

His academic efforts are focused on developing and presenting pathology content. His clinical duties involve patient care and teaching University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine medical students in the UCF Lake Nona Hospital.

Dr. Kaseb is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and an active member of multiple medical societies including United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). Dr Kaseb has authored a number of articles and published abstracts in the fields of Pathology, Hematopathology, Cancer biology and Molecular Pathology. Dr Kaseb is also a reviewer for a number of pathology journals. He also contributed in creating/editing educational content to USMLE study Qbanks.
