Two teams of M-1 medical students recently placed 17th and 19th at the Medical Wilderness Adventure Race Southeast in Fort Gordon, GA.

Abinaya Chari, Alexa Rodriguez, Chris Cooper, Lena Ning, Mihail Stojanovski, Mikaela DeVeaux, Omar Shakeel and Ricardo Molero Bravo competed in a 10-mile race that combined cycling, orienteering and wilderness emergencies like dehydration and alligator attacks.

(No worries. The gator was plastic. But it did manage to eat Omar.)
