The College of Medicine is inviting the community to an October 25 open house at UCF Health, the new outpatient medical facility where UCF physician-educators will practice medicine. The practice is currently accepting patients ages 16 and up for appointments beginning November 7.

The open house will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. and provide the community with an opportunity to meet the medical staff and tour the facility. UCF Health’s services include internal, family and geriatric medicine, infectious disease, neurology, nephrology, sports medicine and rheumatology. As a convenience to existing patients, UCF Health offers on-site lab services and will soon offer on-site X-ray services.

“UCF Health is staffed with UCF clinical faculty members who are responsible for training the next generation of physicians at our Lake Nona campus,” said Dr. Deborah German, vice president for medical affairs and founding dean of the College of Medicine. “Our goal is to take our dedication to excellence from the classroom to the clinic with this new state-of-the-art practice for our community.”

UCF Health is located at 3400 Quadrangle Blvd., on the corner of University and Quadrangle Boulevards, about a block from the UCF Orlando campus.

“We invite everyone in the community to come to our open house and experience the difference at UCF Health,” Dr. German said.
