Here is what UCF medical students had to say about Dr. Houston:
- “Jane was an incredible preceptor as she offered ample feedback to me along the way, especially when I presented to her. She asked thought-provoking questions and offered a lot of practical advice from her life experiences.”
- “She was an absolute pleasure to work under. She made many learning opportunities possible and has a knack for teaching through practical application. She cares for her patients immensely and I learned a great deal about empathy and the humanitarian side of medicine. She is a model provider that I am so thankful to have worked under. She has endowed me with skills and knowledge that I will carry with me my whole career.”
- “Jane clearly has a passion for teaching and takes every opportunity to teach, quiz and encourage learning. I deeply appreciated her willingness to explain difficult concepts, provide hands-on opportunities and just generally include me in whatever work she was doing. This woman is an absolutely phenomenal practitioner and role model. I want to be just like her when I grow up.”
