Dr. Kayla McGrath is a board‑certified pediatric anesthesiologist and assistant professor of anesthesiology at Nemours Children’s Health and UCF’s College of Medicine. She completed her M.D. at Ross University School of Medicine, her anesthesiology residency at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine, and a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. McGrath combines high‑level clinical expertise with a strong academic record. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, an active educator who directs the Pediatric Anesthesia elective for medical students, and a prolific contributor to the field with multiple peer‑reviewed publications, national presentations and poster sessions. Her procedural experience includes 350+ ultrasound‑guided regional nerve blocks, 300+ neuraxial procedures and 100+ caudal epidurals, and she has significant experience managing complex pediatric cases including solid‑organ transplant and congenital heart disease. Dr. McGrath is also engaged in quality improvement and leadership activities within her department, enhancing patient safety and trainee education.
