Dr. Helen Thuy-Duong Vo offers an Anesthesiology elective for our fourth-year medical students at the Orlando VA Medical Center in Lake Nona. An associate professor, she is one of the community physicians who serve as College of Medicine preceptors, providing clinical training to UCF medical students.

Dr. Vo received her MD degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, followed by a Transitional Year and Anesthesia Residency at Emory University School of Medicine.  She is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.  Throughout medical school and her current practice, she has been active in multiple committees, currently in areas of quality improvement with the VA Medical Center.  She is active in the community and is President of the Vietnamese American Medical Professionals of Florida organization. Her love of teaching provides opportunities for medical students and children, alike, as she also teaches Vietnamese to young children and strives to be a role model for learners of all ages.
