Honoring Cynthia Kahn
On Thursday, July 29 at 4 p.m., the UCF College of Medicine will gather in the atrium of the medical education building to remember and celebrate the life of our colleague, Cynthia Kahn.
Together with members of Cynthia’s family, the college will share stories of how Cynthia worked with us and touched our hearts with her love of history, medicine and learning.
Cynthia’s dedication helped the College of Medicine secure the highly sought-after “Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine” exhibit from the National Library of Medicine. The exhibit will be on display in the Harriet F. Ginsburg Health Sciences Library until mid-August.
Following the brief memorial program and the planting of a citrus tree on the college grounds in Cynthia’s honor, attendees are invited to the library to visit the exhibit and enjoy a small reception.
