“It takes all of us working together to make The Good Doctor.” With those words, Dr. Deborah German, vice president for medical affairs and dean of the UCF College of Medicine, honored faculty – core, volunteer and affiliated – and students during the 2014-2014 Faculty and Student Awards Ceremony.
Faculty members were honored for their excellence in research, education and clinical care. Students were honored for academic achievement during their first two years of medical school. Graduating seniors receive awards for academic achievement during Class Day in May.
As he presented the faculty awards, Dr. Richard Peppler, associate dean for faculty and academic affairs, looked into the crowd that included College of Medicine and community physicians and their family members. “There is no shortage of talent in the room,” he said. “Our college and our students are grateful for all that you do.”
