College of Medicine faculty, staff and students were honored Wednesday for their contributions to education, research and community health at the 2025 Awards Ceremony.
“These are people making a difference in our medical school and in our community. They are part of our College of Medicine family that is focused on improving the health of us all,” said Dr. Deborah German, vice president for health affairs and medical school dean.
Dr. German presented the Dean’s Award, the college’s most prestigious honor, to Glen Salow, a member of the College of Medicine’s Dean’s Advisory Council she described as “a technology leader who believes that by marrying tech with medicine, we can bring patient care and hope to a world that desperately needs both.
“At this moment in our history, as we seize the opportunity to advance technology and engineering in healthcare, this awardee has become a strategic partner who generously shares his knowledge, passion, experience and resources.”
