- College of Medicine
Finance director Steve Omli and the College of Medicine have been recognized for using a company’s innovations in business collaboration technology to improve the efficiency of the college’s budget processes.
“We are honored to accept this award for our work with Adaptive Planning,” Steve said. “Their software has allowed us to improve the way we do our budgeting and financial planning by streamlining the process and enhancing its accuracy. The reporting capabilities allow quick turnaround on information requests that can be tailored to an individual’s needs.”
Adaptive Planning is a worldwide leader in cloud-based corporate performance management solutions for companies and nonprofits.
Steve accepted the Business Collaboration Leadership Award from the business technology research and advisory services firm Ventana Research on Nov. 8 in San Jose, Calif. The 7th annual 2012 Ventana Research Leadership Awards recognized organizations and supporting technology vendors for effectively using resources and demonstrating a heightened level of expertise, determination and team effort.
“The UCF’s College of Medicine’s work with Adaptive Planning is a great example of how important the collaborative process is for a company and its financial management,” said Mark Smith, CEO and chief research officer for Ventana Research.
