Call them the musical dynamic duo. On May 11, Dr. Juan Cendan, the College of Medicine’s assistant dean for simulation, and his son Aaron performed at Winter Park High School’s “Night of Percussion.”

The father-son team performed “Ney Rosauro’s Toccata and Divertimento” for classical guitar and vibraphone. Theirs was the first ever parent-child performance at the annual high school event.

“The night was a great success,” Dr. Cendan said, although he and Dr. Simms-Cendan, associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the college, said they regretted not being able to attend the annual COM Skit Night the same evening.
