Celebrate Another College of Medicine Milestone
College of Medicine faculty and staff members have the opportunity to attend the college’s Opening Celebration fund-raiser October 16 at a specially-discounted price.
Tickets are now available for $75 per person for up to two tickets – a 50 percent price reduction for the College of Medicine team. The ticket not only includes admission to the event, but also permanent recognition in the Piazza in the form of a personalized brick.
The celebration will include a progressive dinner and entertainment on all four floors of the new medical education building. Food is being donated by a variety of local restaurants and hotels, including Ocean Prime, P.F. Chang’s, The Citrus Club, Flemings, Café 118°, Bonefish Grill, the Ritz-Carlton, The Boheme, Macaroni Grill, Darden Restaurants, the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Ruth’s Chris, just to name a few.
“This is a significant event in the history of our college,” said Lorraine Scholler, assistant director of development. “It wouldn’t be complete without the faculty and staff members who made it happen.”
