The Division of Continuous Professional Learning recognizes the transformative power of longitudinal communities of practice in professional development. Our faculty development certificate programs are designed to foster continuous growth and skill enhancement over time in a collaborative environment where faculty engage in meaningful learning and discussions.
Currently, we offer two teaching certificate programs, the Stanford Faculty Development Course and the UCF Clinical Teaching Certificate Program. Trying to figure out which one to participate in? See our FAQ which highlights the differences between the two programs.
Stanford Faculty Development Course
This program provides participants with background knowledge and seminar leadership skills required to deliver a series of seven 2-hour seminars to their colleagues and to residents.
UCF Clinical Teaching Certificate Program
This program is aimed at giving clinical educators the essential tools, strategies, and dispositions to deliver high quality clinical education.
We also collaborate with the Orlando VA Medical Center to offer the Fundamentals of Clinical Research for Healthcare Professionals. CPRC is a one-year certificate program composed of approximately 40-44 hours of virtual didactic and interactive activities focused on research methodology and research regulatory standards. The program is specifically designed for individuals with an interest in developing their clinical research career with aspirations of obtaining research funding.
