A New Way to Initiate Faculty Appointments through Workday!
UCF College of Medicine has introduced Workday as the new platform for initiating Affiliate and Volunteer Faculty appointments.
Welcome to Our Updated Appointment Process
The new Workday process provides a centralized way to submit initial faculty appointment information and support credentialing and approvals. Academic sponsorship and qualifying teaching activities remain required before an individual completes an initial appointment application.
How the New Process Works
The new appointment process is for new applicants only. Existing faculty looking to renew their appointments should not submit an initial application through Workday. Information and instructions for the faculty appointment renewal process will be posted here soon.
Confirm Sponsorship & Eligibility
Academic sponsorship is required to verify that the individual meets the qualifying teaching activity and appointment criteria.
Complete the Workday Application
Eligible individuals will submit their initial application through Workday, including personal and academic assignment information and an updated CV.
Go to ApplicationCredentialing & Approval
The Office of Faculty Affairs reviews the application, initiates credentialing, and coordinates the appointment agreement and required approvals.
Affiliate and Volunteer faculty at UCF College of Medicine (COM) are recruited to participate in key aspects of our educational programs as we work toward our goal of educating exemplary physicians, leaders in medicine, scholars in science, innovators in medical technology, and compassionate providers of healthcare for the well-being of our community.
