Mission: The mission is to promote an understanding of the evolution of contemporary medicine and the historical foundations upon which it is built. By exploring the origins of medicine, members will be able to better appreciate the inextricable linkage between medicine, science, and society and the ways in which scientific paradigms shape medical practice.
