Welcome to Healthcare Horizon
Mission
The mission of Healthcare Horizons is to promote public school student interest, specifically
high schoolers, in pursuing a career in medicine/physicianship. This mission is specifically
tailored to those students without ready access to career services and healthcare career
exploration opportunities in their public school. In conjunction with the University of Central
Florida Office of Access, Belonging, and Community Engagement and ELEVATE Orlando,
medical students will have the opportunity to provide educational and career readiness
information for interested high school students.
