Biography

Dr. Audrey Bowen is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She began her medical career at The University of the West Indies in Jamaica and completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and the New York Hospital. Dr. Bowen went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

The UCF College of Medicine welcomed Dr. Bowen in June of 2016. Dr. Bowen has been a Pediatric Emergency Attending Physician at the Florida Hospital for Children for over 20 years. Her clinical duties involve patient care, supervising and teaching UCF College of Medicine medical students and residents in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Bowen maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Bowen is very involved in volunteer work and mission trips. She has made multiple trips to Kingston, Jamaica and South Africa and is currently a Physician Volunteer for the Shepherd’s Hope Medical Clinic in Orlando, FL.
