lynda.comStudents, faculty and staff at UCF College of Medicine will now have an opportunity to brush up on their tech skills, thanks to a subscription service offered through Lynda.com. The website offers in-depth tutorials on computer software that is used in UCF offices on a daily basis.

The College of Medicine community will have access to the site to view hundreds of video lessons on programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and gadget instruction for digital cameras and tablet computers. The service normally costs about $25 a month, but is being offered free to students, faculty and staff through funding from the College of Medicine Human Resources Department.

The Harriet F. Ginsburg Library made the site available after conducting a survey that showed colleagues had an interest in learning new technology skills for work and personal use.

The lynda.com site access is available to any student, faculty and staff member through the library staff. Please contact them at  MedLibrary@ucf.edu or (407) 266-1400.
