The College of Medicine’s new culinary medicine course was featured by the Orlando Sentinel and NPR-affiliate, WMFE radio. The new intensive six-week elective is an innovative approach to teaching medical students the importance of nutrition and its effect on health. The students learn not just what healthy food is, but also how to cook it so they can give patients practical advice on healthy eating.
