The UCF College of Medicine team added several new members in the past weeks:
Judith Snook
Judith Snook joined the college October 29 as an administrative assistant in the Office of the Associate Dean of Legal Affairs. Judith will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to Associate Dean Jeanette Schreiber and the Legal Affairs department. She reports to Counsel Schreiber. Her office is located in 312J and her phone extension is 6-1109. Judith comes to us from Quietflight where she held the position of assistant manager.
Dr. Alfredo Tirado-Gonzalez
Dr. Alfredo Tirado-Gonzalez joined the college October 23 as an assistant professor of emergency medicine in the Clinical Sciences Department. Dr. Tirado-Gonzalez will report to Dr. Richard Peppler. His office is located in 412D and his phone extension is 6-1114. Before coming to UCF, Dr. Tirado-Gonzalez worked with Florida State University as a faculty member and also served as a volunteer faculty member for the College of Medicine.
Lois Sparkman
Lois Sparkman joined the college November 1 as a certified ultrasound technologist at UCF Health to provide ultrasound imaging services. Lois reports to Linda Smelser, is located at UCF Health and can be reached at 407-309-4800. Before coming to the College of Medicine, Lois worked as a diagnostic medical sonographer at Florida Hospital Celebration Health.
Brittany Brooks
Brittany Brooks joined the college on November 26 as a certified medical assistant at UCF Health. Brittany reports to Linda Smelser, is located at UCF Health and can be reached at 407-309-4800. Before coming to the College of Medicine, Brittany worked as a medical assistant/field medic for the U.S. Navy and is currently on active duty.
John Gracey
John Gracey joined the college on November 9 as a coordinator in Student Affairs and will report to Soraya Smith. He will assist in implementing major student events and programming as well as providing support for student services. His office is located in COM 115N and his phone extension is 6-1357. Before coming to the College of Medicine, John worked for four years as a coordinator in the Office of Student Financial Assistance on the main UCF campus.
Michael Pugh
Michael Pugh joined the college on November 9 as an engineer in the Educational Technology Unit. He will assist in the installation and maintenance of all learning technologies for the College of Medicine. Michael comes to us from the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences where held the position of Maintenance Mechanic. He will report to Michael Reeves> His office is located in COM 207G-4. He can be reached at ext. 6-1443.
Phillip Bellew
Philip Bellew joined the college in an OPS capacity and was transitioned into a role as A&P Module Coordinator M-2 on November 9. He reports to Geovanna Abreu. His office location and extension will remain the same.
