We continue our series of features on community physicians who serve as preceptors at the UCF College of Medicine. Today we highlight Dr. Heather Schweizer, a Neurology specialist at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital. Dr. Schweizer is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency training in Neurology was at the Larkin Community Hospital in Coral Gables, FL. Dr. Schweizer is a neuro-hospitalist and stroke expert, currently teaching UCF medicl students at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital.
