The College of Medicine and the Lake Nona YMCA will hold “Jazz On A Green” Saturday, October 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. on the college’s Tavistock Green.
Featured performers are Ken Navarro, a Contemporary Jazz guitarist and composer first recognized as a solo artist in 1990 with his song “Try Again” from his debut CD The River Flows, and trombone star Jeff Bradshaw, who released Bone Deep in 2001 and his second CD, Boneapetite is due to be released in March 2013.
Tickets are $15 before the event and $30 on the day of the event at the door. Proceeds go to scholarship programs for the medical school and the YMCA. For more information, go to www.jazzonagreen.com.
