College of Medicine cardiovascular researcher Dr. Dinender Singla is one of three UCF faculty members have been awarded fellowships by the UCF Office of Research to advance the university’s research efforts over the coming year.
The fellows will develop and implement programs that can help improve faculty grant success and accelerate the growth of the research enterprise.
Dr. Singla is a professor of medicine and holds the Florida Hospital chair in cardiovascular science. He also leads the cardiovascular/metabolic research team at the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences.
