The College of Medicine is expanding its wellness message to UCF athletics with a “Healthy Days & Knights” campaign that will provide encouragement and tips for living a healthy lifestyle throughout sporting seasons.

As part of the new program, the college will sponsor the September 10 football game against Boston College at 8:00 p.m. at Bright House Networks Stadium. The game, considered one of the top matchups of the 2011-2012 season, is scheduled to be broadcast on CBS Sports. Dr. Deborah German, vice president of medical affairs and dean of the College of Medicine will receive the game ball and be interviewed live at halftime.

As part of the “Healthy Days & Knights” campaign, the medical school will receive recognition during UCF football, basketball and baseball games, and present health tips during games and on television and radio shows hosted by UCF coaches.

And don’t be surprised if you see College of Medicine students and faculty cheering for the Knights on the Jumbotron at the game
