Terri Gotschall joined the Harriet F. Ginsburg Health Sciences Library team in 2017 as the Scholarly Communications Librarian. Scholarly communication ensures the knowledge created in the lab makes it out into the world. In her role, she helps authors navigate the complex and rapidly changing publication environment. This includes finding and evaluating journals, protecting author’s intellectual property, and open access.
Prior to joining the College of Medicine, she worked at UCF’s Office of Technology Transfer as a research promotions coordinator. Terri earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University.
