Biography

Dr. Scott Barron earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL and completed his Pediatric Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA.  Dr. Barron has over 28-years of experience in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Academic Pediatrics, and Administrative Pediatrics. 

Dr. Barron is the Senior Deputy Editor of Pediatrics at DynaMed, which is an online evidence-based point-of-care tool, as well as the Regional Lead Clinician for the Orlando Region of Pediatric Associates. In 2022 Dr. Barron joined the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pediatrics. He has a passion for resident and student education and has won several teaching awards in his career.
