Second Year Fellows
Dr. Marcela Perez-Acosta was born and raised in Culiacan, Mexico. She obtained her medical degree from the Faculty de Medicina de la Universidad Autonomy de Sinaloa. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she received the ‘senior of the year’ and other teaching awards. She has a special interest in dermatomyositis and skin manifestations of rheumatologic diseases. She loves spending her free time baking, exercising and spending time with her husband and kids.
Dr. Ann Goerge obtained her medical degree from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, in Kerala, India. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. Her academic interests include vasculitis, lupus and musculoskeletal ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. She loves cooking, cross-stitching, spending time with family and exploring restaurants with different cuisines.
