Message from our Program Director

Welcome to The University of Central Florida/HCA Florida Healthcare Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.

Our program, proudly sponsored by the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and HCA Florida Healthcare GME Consortium, offers a new and unique learning experience across three leading and diverse health care systems: The Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and VITAS Healthcare.

We are committed to nurturing clinicians who consistently deliver expert, high-quality, and compassionate care. Our fellows embrace a collaborative treatment team approach and the passion to address the needs of underserved populations. They also demonstrate an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning and sharing palliative medicine knowledge and skills.

Our faculty and teams are respected throughout our institution for their steadfast passion, patient-centered focus, and professionalism. The faculty will help you emerge as an exceptional physician and leader in hospice and palliative medicine. We are dedicated to providing a dynamic, engaging education that infuses the practice of medicine with meaning and joy. You will be empowered with the tools to navigate various healthcare settings while modeling an example of emotional health and well-being.

We are recruiting two fellows annually for our one-year-long clinical training program. Join us in this remarkable journey towards becoming a palliative care leader of tomorrow.

Thank you for your interest in our program. We are excited to share more about our program with you in the future. In the meantime, for further details, please browse our website, and if you have any inquiries, please contact our fellowship coordinator Ann Bravo-Garcia at Ann.BravoGarcia@hcahealthcare.com.
