Location: Nemours Children’s Hospital
- Pediatric Rheumatology elective is offered for 1 month per fellow in the 2nd year of fellowship.
- Through this rotation, the fellows will acquire skills in performing a comprehensive joint exam as well as comprehensive history appropriate for pediatric patients in rheumatology. The fellows will also learn management of pediatric rheumatology autoimmune diseases and acquire expertise in pediatric indication and dosing of medications for children with autoimmune diseases.
- This elective is primarily centered in the ambulatory environment, though inpatient consults will be performed when directed by the attending on service.
