Welcome to Our Program
Hello and thank you for your interest in our Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship. Our program is sponsored by the University of Central Florida College of Medicine/HCA GME Consortium. Our hospital training sites include the Orlando Veterans Administration Hospital, Osceola Regional Medical Center and the outpatient clinics affiliated with these institutions. We are dedicated to meeting the endocrine health care needs of the communities we serve and are committed to providing a dynamic and fulfilling educational experience to all who train with us. We offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient experiences as well as traditional and innovative teaching methods, weakly didactic and clinical conferences, journal clubs, patient safety projects, performance improvement and clinical research. We also participate in joint conferences with Radiology, Pathology, General Surgery and ENT. Our clinics include general endocrinology sessions as well as clinics dedicated to insulin pump and glucose sensor patients and thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration.
We have a great team of faculty and fellows who are recognized throughout the institution for their support of each other, ability to work together, flexibility and professionalism. The goal of our Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship is to provide trainees with the comprehensive educational experience they need to become independent practitioners but more importantly we strive to instill in our fellows a long-term love on endocrinology.
Besides a great educational experience, we have new state-of-the-art facilities and live in Orlando, the City Beautiful where the weather is great and there is always something to do. Please peruse the website and contact us if you have any questions. We would love to have you join us!
