Fellows spend nearly the same amount of time at the Lake Nona and Osceola locations. Our team delivers inpatient endocrine care at Orlando VA and HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. All fellows have dedicated, weekly continuity clinics at the Orlando VA Medical Center. In addition, the fellows spend the majority of their training providing outpatient care at the Orlando VA Medical Center, UCF Health, and Premier Endocrinology clinics.
Fellows are granted 4 weeks of vacation each academic year. Educational leave is also often provided for fellows participating in conferences and national endocrine meetings.
Our program holds weekly Academic Half Days (AHD) on Friday afternoons (1:00 – 4:30 PM) for didactic sessions, journal club, fellow presentations, joint multidisciplinary conferences, board review, and Endocrine Grand Rounds.
