Biography

Richard Henriquez, MD, is an Associate Program Director, Curriculum Director, and Orlando VA Site Director for the UCF/HCA Florida Healthcare  Internal Medicine Residency Program. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Henriquez is board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine and practices at the Orlando VA Healthcare System. A graduate of the UCF/HCA Internal Medicine Residency Program, he went on to serve as Chief Resident before joining the faculty. His professional interests include medical education, curriculum innovation, Simulation, POCUS, quality improvement, healthcare technology, and substance use disorder treatment.
