Tell Us About Yourself: I grew up in Gujarat, India, where I completed my medical school before making the leap across the world for residency. I chose UCF because of the program’s teaching culture, the mentorship, and the family feeling among the residents. Teaching turned out to be the part of the residency I loved most, and being able to support my co-residents. Whether that’s through academics, scheduling, or just being someone they can lean on, has been one of the most rewarding parts of this job. Outside the hospital, you’ll usually find me on a pickleball court, trying to convince someone to play a game of cricket with me, out on a hiking trail, or floating down one of Florida’s springs whenever I need to recharge.
