Biography

My name is Radhika Venkatesan, and I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida. I am deeply committed to addressing health disparities within historically underserved communities, particularly focusing on enhancing the well-being of women and children. Recognizing the urgency of these issues, I founded the Mothers and Children Health Association at UCF to raise awareness about the challenges surrounding maternal health, among other critical issues affecting women and children.

My passion for bridging this healthcare gap has led me to seek out research opportunities that integrate these interests, with the aim of applying the knowledge gained to my future endeavor of becoming an Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN). By intertwining my academic pursuits with my desire to serve others, I aspire to make a meaningful difference in healthcare access and outcomes for those who need it most.
