Biography

Maiara Fascina is a second-year UCF student majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is deeply interested in exploring the intersections of psychology, mental health, substance abuse, social equality, and cultural impacts on healthcare.

Maiara aspires to attend medical school and become a surgeon. Growing up in a multicultural environment, she has witnessed the challenges faced by minority communities in accessing quality healthcare and is committed to making it more inclusive and equitable for all. 

Outside of her academic and research pursuits, she enjoys going to church, traveling, spending time with friends, and singing.
