Biography

Kayla is a first-generation college student. She has received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida. She aspires to fulfill her dream as a Pediatrician, with a long-term goal of becoming a Pediatric Cardio Surgeon. As a volunteer at Nemours, this opportunity has refined her interest in the field, which has inspired her to continue. Kayla is actively taking a gap year, diversifying her involvement in Women’s Research and Clinical Hours, before applying to Medical School. In her free time, she loves going to Disney, and spending time with her friends and family.
