Biography

I’m Anabelle Santiago, a Health Sciences Pre-Clinical major at the University of Central Florida, where I’m also earning a certificate in Spanish for Healthcare Professionals. As an undergraduate researcher, I am deeply invested in understanding and addressing health disparities within Latino/Hispanic communities and improving overall global health.

My ultimate goal is to attend medical school and work abroad as a medical doctor, with a particular focus on global medicine. My research interests revolve around studying these disparities and developing strategies to advance healthcare practices for diverse populations.

With my strong background in health sciences and Spanish language skills, I am committed to making significant contributions to the field of global medicine. I aim to enhance the well-being of communities locally and internationally and hope to inspire future generations to pursue meaningful advancements in global health.
