Quality Improvement
Quality Improvement is an essential aspect of safe medical care. HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and University of Central Florida College of Medicine have strong departments of Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. Processes within the ED and within the hospital are constantly being monitored and maintained from a quality perspective. Residents will be encouraged to think of the Emergency Department as one part of the system of a hospital and will be required to participate in a QI project during the 3-year program.
